Dear friends and colleagues,

the Life Coornata Project partnership is pleasuerd to invite you to the Chamois International Congress, to be held in Lama dei Peligni, Majella National Park, Central Italy, on June 17th - 20th, 2014.

Experts coming from the geographical range of the Rupicapra species will meet to share the knowledge and discuss conservation issues regarding all the subspecies of the northern (Rupicapra rupicapra) and southern (Rupicapra pyrenaica) chamois.

The participation to the congress will be a wonderful occasion to enjoy one of the most beautiful and striking scenarios of the Apennines, the Majella National Park, where chamois (Rupicapra pyrenaica ornata) live together with bears, wolves, plenty of birds and other animals.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Lama dei Peligni!
